In the west, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 42 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 51 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 100%, and the dew point is near 56 degrees. Current drying conditions are poor west, poor central, and poor east. Tobacco stripping conditions are favorable west, favorable central, and favorable east. There is patchy fog west and central. Visibility is less than one mile east. Winds are from the south at 3 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northeast at 6 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Temperatures for the period averaged 40 degrees across the state which was 3 degrees cooler than normal and 4 degrees cooler than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 50 in the West to 50 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 3 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 3 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 31 degrees in the West to 30 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 3 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 1 degrees cooler than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 64 degrees at FORT CAMPBELL and the extreme low was 10 degrees at VANCEBURG 6W.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 0.47 inches statewide which was 0.49 inches below normal and 49% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 0.60 inches, Central 0.46 inches, Bluegrass 0.38 inches and East 0.44 inches, which was 0.43, 0.57, 0.48 and 0.5 inches below normal.
