A high pressure ridge was in place over the eastern U.S. A frontal
boundary extended from the upper Mississippi Valley across the Great
Lake region. Another front extended from the Dakotas into east Texas.

We had a few clouds over the region, mainly blow off from
thunderstorms over Arkansas and Missouri. Otherwise, our skies were
mostly clear.

Sunday was warm with high temperatures in the lower to mid 80s. In
some cases, these were the first temperatures above the 80 degree
mark since last October. Most areas fell into the mid 40s to around
50 overnight. Readings at 2 PM Monday ranged from near 80 to the mid
80s.

Warm and dry conditions will continue through Tuesday, with a chance
for a shower beginning on Wednesday. Low temperatures tonight will
be in the lower to mid 50s. Highs on Tuesday will reach the upper
70s and lower 80s.
