Tropical Depression will continue to weaken and lift slowly northward
across Arkansas overnight.

* CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - The Tropical Storm Warning has been cancelled for Arkansas, 
      Bradley, Calhoun, Clark, Cleveland, Dallas, Desha, Drew, 
      Garland, Grant, Hot Spring, Jefferson, Lincoln, Lonoke, 
      Ouachita, Pike, Prairie, Pulaski, and Saline

* CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - None

* STORM INFORMATION:
    - About 30 miles north-northeast of Little Rock AR
    - 35.1N 92.0W
    - Storm Intensity 35 mph
    - Movement North-northeast or 15 degrees at 15 mph

SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

Tropical Depression Laura will continue to weaken as it lifts slowly
northward across Arkansas overnight. Rainfall associated with the storm
system will remain capable of producing additional localized flash
flooding heading into Friday morning. Gusty winds will also remain
capable of downing trees and power lines, which could lead to
additional power outages.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS
-----------------

* FLOODING RAIN:
Potential impacts from the flooding rain are still possible across
parts of southwest and central Arkansas and include: 

    - Major rainfall flooding may prompt many evacuations and rescues.
    - Rivers and tributaries may rapidly overflow their banks in 
      multiple places. Small streams, creeks, canals, arroyos, and 
      ditches may become dangerous rivers. In mountain areas, 
      destructive runoff may run quickly down valleys while 
      increasing susceptibility to rockslides and mudslides. Flood 
      control systems and barriers may become stressed.
    - Flood waters can enter many structures within multiple 
      communities, some structures becoming uninhabitable or washed 
      away. Many places where flood waters may cover escape routes. 
      Streets and parking lots become rivers of moving water with 
      underpasses submerged. Driving conditions become dangerous. 
      Many road and bridge closures with some weakened or washed out.

* WIND:
Little to no impacts are anticipated at this time across a large part 
of Arkansas.

* TORNADOES:
Little to no impacts are anticipated at this time across a large part 
of Arkansas.
