Vigorous flow associated with monsoon trough near 19S165E 20S167E, near 19S166E
21S168E at 021200UTC, near 19S166E 21S169E at 021800UTC, near 19S166E 20S169E
at 030000UTC, and near 18S166E 21S170E at 030600UTC.

AREA AFFECTED
Bounded by 18S166E 19S169E 21S170E 23S169E 22S167E 21S166E 18S166E.

FORECAST
Northwesterly quarter winds within 60nm north of monsoon trough. Wind speeds
30/40 knots. Winds spreading to include southeasterly winds within 90nm south
of monsoon trough from 021200UTC. Rough to very rough seas. Moderate to heavy
swell.

PLEASE BE AWARE
Wind and wave forecasts are averages. Wind gusts can be 40 per cent stronger
than the forecast, and stronger still in squalls and thunderstorms. Maximum
waves can be twice the forecast height.
