Buoy data at both Ritidian and Tanapag show that the northerly swell has diminished to below 6 feet with the average swell period near 11 seconds. This brings high surf conditions below advisory criteria for north facing reefs, as well as rip current risk down to moderate. With this data, the High Surf Advisory and High Rip Current Risk were canceled. Surf may approach hazardous levels Sunday night due to a pulse of long-period swell that will move into the region. Seas may only rise a foot or so, but the period may potentially increase to 14 seconds. This would be enough to reach High Surf Advisory levels for north facing reefs. $$ Williams
