The National Weather Service in Anchorage has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  North and West of Nunivak Island...

* Until 1015 PM AKDT.

* At 913 PM AKDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms
  capable of producing small hail. These storms were located along a
  line extending from 40 nm south of Hooper Bay to 12 nm northwest of
  Cape Etolin, moving west at 10 knots.

* Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds, high waves, dangerous lightning, and
heavy rains. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these
storms pass.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
