Patchy fog is developing in portions of central and northern 
Virginia, far eastern West Virginia, and northern Maryland. Fog 
may be locally dense with visibility less than one quarter mile, 
especially near open fields and other low lying terrain. Fog will 
gradually improve the second half of the night as a cold front 
pushes into the area.

If driving, be alert for changing visibility. Slow down and use 
low beam headlights when encountering dense fog.
