At 328 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of showers and
thunderstorms along a line extending from 16 miles east of Cascade to
14 miles southeast of Lewistown, moving northeast at 20 mph.

These storms appear to be developing over the Little Belt and Big 
Snowy Mountains and moving out onto the plains.

The main impact from these storms will be frequent cloud to ground 
lightning, so have a plan to seek shelter in a building or vehicle 
if storms are approaching.

Other impacts from these storms include wind gusts to 35 mph, brief 
heavy rainfall, and possibly some small hail up to pea size from the 
stronger storms.

Lewistown, Stanford, Belt, Denton, Hobson, Moore, Grass Range,
Highwood, Geyser, Roy, Fergus, Neihart, Windham, Forestgrove, Eden,
Sapphire Village, Stockett, Utica, Shonkin, and Danvers.
