See latest flood warnings for additional details. Storms developing over western Kansas will drift eastward into parts of central Kansas after 11 PM as a cold front approaches the area. The stronger storms will be capable of quarter sized hail and 55 to 60 mph winds. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Storms will remain in the forecast for Thursday, especially for locations along and southeast of the Kansas Turnpike. A few strong storms will be possible with this activity. Another cold front will surge through Kansas on Friday night into Saturday morning and will provide another chance for strong or severe storms. Periodic thunderstorm chances will remain in the forecast for Saturday night through early next week. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible, along with additional heavy rainfall and localized flooding.
