Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 94 mph Path Length /statute/: 0.37 miles Path Width /maximum/: 75 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 05/14/2024 Start Time: 05:14 PM CDT Start Location: 1 NE Newburgh / Warrick County / IN Start Lat/Lon: 37.9587 / -87.385 End Date: 05/14/2024 End Time: 05:15 PM CDT End Location: 1 NE Newburgh / Warrick County / IN End Lat/Lon: 37.9639 / -87.3849 Survey Summary: A brief EF-1 tornado with estimated peak winds of 94 mph struck the northeast side of Newburgh, IN. The great majority of the damage was from uprooted trees and downed large tree limbs in a south to north path between Marywood Drive and Oakdale Drive. A couple homes also had fascia and gutter damage.
