This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected again today across the region, with the threat of severe thunderstorms increasing this afternoon into early this evening. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary threat, but a few tornadoes cannot be ruled out. In addition, locally heavy rainfall may result in some additional flash flooding due to already saturated soil conditions. Therefore, a Flood Watch is in effect through 1 AM tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. A Flood Watch is in effect through Friday evening. Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms will persist through this weekend with an isolated severe threat and locally heavy rain.
