Isolated damaging winds will be the main concern, but large hail cannot be ruled out. Numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected to bring heavy rainfall to the Quad State through tonight. A Flood Watch has been issued for potential flash flooding over southern portions of southeast Missouri, the southern tip of Illinois and the Purchase Area of Kentucky for tonight and Friday. Elsewhere, lightning and localized heavy rainfall can be expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday A Flood Watch for flash flooding will continue through Friday for southern portions of southeast Missouri, the southern tip of Illinois and the Purchase Area of Kentucky. Please consult the watch for details. A chance of thunderstorms is forecast from Tuesday through Wednesday. The best chances will be Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as a cold front passes.
