A cold front will move through the region today. Scattered showers and 
thunderstorms will continue both ahead of and behind the front today. Storm 
coverage will increase through the afternoon hours. Temperatures will be cooler 
than yesterday, topping out in the upper 70s to lower 80s. A significant warming 
trend starts toward the end of the workweek and into the weekend.

A few lingering thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday in the east. Then dry 
conditions are expected to continue through the upcoming weekend with above 
normal temperatures. Winds are expected to be strongest on Thursday.
