Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are expected this afternoon through the early evening as tropical moisture continues to increase across the region. The strongest storms may contain gusty winds and brief heavy rainfall, but organized severe weather is not anticipated. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Rain chances will be confined to mainly east Texas on Wednesday as high pressure builds in, displacing the tropical moisture to the west.
