Temperatures for the period averaged 66 degrees across the state which was 3 degrees warmer than normal
. High temperatures averaged from 79 in the West to 76 in the East.
Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 4 degrees warmer than normal in the West
to 3 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 55 degrees in the West
to 53 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 3 degrees warmer than normal
in the West to 4 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period
was 102 at CAPE GIRARDEAU ASOS and the extreme low was 0 at MONTICELLO AWOS.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 10.20 inches statewide which was 0.18 inches below normal
and 98% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 12.43 inches, Central 10.83 inches,
Bluegrass 10.38 inches and East 7.16 inches, which was 1.69, -0.17, 0.45 and -2.67 inches respectively from normal.
