. High temperatures averaged from 66 in the West to 65 in the East.
Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 3 degrees warmer than normal in the West
to 3 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 46 degrees in the West
to 44 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 5 degrees warmer than normal
in the West to 5 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period
was 97 at MORGANFIELD 4E and the extreme low was 7 at HARTFORD 3E.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 13.09 inches statewide which was 1.9 inches above normal
and 117% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 15.53 inches, Central 14.17 inches,
Bluegrass 12.68 inches and East 10.00 inches, which was 3.69, 2.37, 2.21 and -0.63 inches respectively from normal.
By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 3.12 inches at WILLIAMSBURG AWOS to a high of 19.59
inches at CALHOUN 5NW.
