. High temperatures averaged from 75 in the West to 73 in the East.
Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 5 degrees warmer than normal in the West
to 4 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 53 degrees in the West
to 51 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 6 degrees warmer than normal
in the West to 7 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period
was 97 at MORGANFIELD 4E and the extreme low was 26 at BURKESVILLE 3W.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 8.76 inches statewide which was 1.82 inches above normal
and 126% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 11.09 inches, Central 9.52 inches,
Bluegrass 8.77 inches and East 5.65 inches, which was 3.63, 2.28, 2.10 and -0.76 inches respectively from normal.
