Temperatures for the period averaged 52 degrees across the state which was 6 degrees warmer than normal
and 10 degrees cooler than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 63 in the West to 62
in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 5 degrees warmer than normal in the West
to 5 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 41 degrees in the West
to 43 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 4 degrees warmer than normal
in the West to 10 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period
was 75 degrees at HICKMAN 2E and the extreme low was 25 degrees at BRANDENBURG 4SW.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 2.26 inches statewide which was 1.8 inches above normal
and 497% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 2.09 inches, Central 3.20 inches,
Bluegrass 2.28 inches and East 1.47 inches, which was 1.64, 2.73, 1.84 and 1.01 inches above normal.
By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 0.16 inches at LOUISA 1S to a high of 5.57
inches at ALBANY 1N.
