. High temperatures averaged from 80 in the West to 78 in the East.
Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees cooler than normal in the West
to 2 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 61 degrees in the West
to 59 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 2 degrees warmer than normal
in the West to 5 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period
was 99 at EVANSVILLE ASOS and the extreme low was 0 at ALEXANDRIA 5NW.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 30.11 inches statewide which was 4.93 inches above normal
and 120% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 26.76 inches, Central 32.58 inches,
Bluegrass 29.71 inches and East 31.37 inches, which was 1.28, 6.76, 5.55 and 6.09 inches above normal.
By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 19.46 inches at CALHOUN 5NW to a high of 39.03
inches at ALBANY 1N.
