Temperatures for the period averaged 70 degrees across the state which was 1 degrees warmer than normal . High temperatures averaged from 82 in the West to 80 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 1 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 61 degrees in the West to 59 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 2 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 3 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 112 at MCKEE 5S and the extreme low was 0 at HAZARD AWOS.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 23.88 inches statewide which was 0.12 inches above normal and 100% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 27.01 inches, Central 26.29 inches, Bluegrass 20.46 inches and East 21.78 inches, which was 3.78, 1.91, -2.70 and -2.50 inches respectively from normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 14.91 inches at LOUISA 1S to a high of 33.59 inches at GREENVILLE 6N.
