Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Wyoming
Based on observations at 300pm MDT, Thursday March 28, 2024

Across Wyoming...temperatures are near 55 degrees north, near 52 degrees central, and near 56 degrees south. Current sky conditions are cloudy north, partly sunny central, and partly sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 34%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 33%, and the dew point is near 24 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 20%, and the dew point is near 16 degrees. Winds are from the northwest at 5 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the south at 21 mph with gusts at 33 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the south at 17 mph with gusts at 26 mph south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 65 degrees at TORRINGTON. The lowest temperature is 31 degrees at LK YELLOWSTONE.

The worst tornado disaster of record occurred in Chicago IL as a tornado
killed 28 persons and caused three million dollars damage. (David Ludlum)

Ten tornadoes tore across the area, affecting the Kentucky counties of 
Adair, Metcalfe, Casey, Green, Larue, Marion, Hardin, Hart, Nelson, and 
Russell; and the Indiana counties of Scott and Jefferson. Two of the 
twisters produced F3 damage. A 28-year-old woman was killed in Metcalfe 
County as she was thrown from her destroyed mobile home. A 40-year-old man 
was killed when his house in Bonnieville (Hart County) was hit by one of 
the F3 tornadoes and blown off its foundation. This tornado injured many 
people when it caused several car accidents as it crossed Interstate 65.
