Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in West Virginia
Based on observations at 600am EDT, Friday March 29, 2024

Across West Virginia...temperatures are near 43 degrees north, near 46 degrees central, and near 38 degrees south. Current sky conditions are cloudy north, cloudy central, and partly cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 73%, and the dew point is near 35 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 45%, and the dew point is near 26 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 55%, and the dew point is near 23 degrees. Winds are from the southwest at 6 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southwest at 8 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the west at 12 mph with gusts at 18 mph south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 46 degrees at Huntington and Charleston. The lowest temperature is 37 degrees at Martinsburg.

Several rounds of rain are expected Saturday through Tuesday with
the potential for 1 to 3 inches total. This could result in flooding
or flash flooding especially Monday and Tuesday.
