Dry weather is expected today with warm weather and sunny skies.
A wedge of high pressure builds in by Friday morning, bringing
clouds, lower temperatures, and a low chance for showers in the
mountains through Saturday. Sunday into the beginning of next
week look especially warm, with shower chances returning
Tuesday.

Across Virginia...temperatures are near 51 degrees north, near 62 degrees central, and near 60 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly sunny north, mostly sunny central, and sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 60%, and the dew point is near 38 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 60%, and the dew point is near 48 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 55%, and the dew point is near 44 degrees. Winds are from the north at 8 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northeast at 15 mph with gusts at 21 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the northeast at 10 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 62 degrees at Richmond. The lowest temperature is SUNNY degrees at Roanoke.
