Dry weather is expected today with warm weather and sunny skies.
A wedge of high pressure builds in by Friday morning, bringing
clouds, lower temperatures, and a low chance for showers in the
mountains through Saturday. Sunday into the beginning of next
week look especially warm, with shower chances returning
Tuesday.

Across Virginia...temperatures are near 50 degrees north, near 53 degrees central, and near 49 degrees south. Current sky conditions are mostly cloudy north, mostly cloudy central, and clear south. In the north, relative humidity is near 68%, and the dew point is near 40 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 68%, and the dew point is near 43 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 74%, and the dew point is near 41 degrees. Winds are from the north at 9 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the north at 10 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northeast at 6 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 54 degrees at Quantico, Norfolk, and Fort Belvoir. The lowest temperature is CLOUDY degrees at Roanoke.
