High pressure remains over the area through the evening. A cold
front crosses our region on Wednesday with scattered showers 
mainly across the mountains. Temperatures remain a few degrees 
either side of normal through the week with high pressure 
returning behind the front.

Across Virginia...temperatures are near 72 degrees north, near 70 degrees central, and near 69 degrees south. Current sky conditions are mostly cloudy north, mostly cloudy central, and sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 24%, and the dew point is near 33 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 27%, and the dew point is near 35 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 36%, and the dew point is near 41 degrees. Winds are from the south at 13 mph with gusts at 21 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the south at 17 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are variable at 7 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 72 degrees at Leesburg, Dulles International Airport, and Culpeper. The lowest temperature is CLEAR degrees at Roanoke.
