Dry weather is expected today with warm weather and sunny skies.
A wedge of high pressure builds in by Friday morning, bringing
clouds, lower temperatures, and a low chance for showers in the
mountains through Saturday. Sunday into the beginning of next
week look especially warm, with shower chances returning
Tuesday.

Across Virginia...temperatures are near 60 degrees north, near 64 degrees central, and near 71 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly sunny north, cloudy central, and partly sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 47%, and the dew point is near 40 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 56%, and the dew point is near 48 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 36%, and the dew point is near 43 degrees. Winds are calm north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 10 mph with gusts at 16 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the northeast at 8 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 71 degrees at Danville. The lowest temperature is PTSUNNY degrees at Roanoke.
