A wedge of high pressure builds in by early Friday morning, 
bringing clouds, lower temperatures, and a low chance for 
drizzle in the mountains through Saturday. Sunday into the 
beginning of next week look especially warm, with shower chances
returning Tuesday.

Across Virginia...temperatures are near 57 degrees north, near 57 degrees central, and near 69 degrees south. Current sky conditions are mostly cloudy north, partly cloudy central, and sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 57%, and the dew point is near 42 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 66%, and the dew point is near 46 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 37%, and the dew point is near 42 degrees. Winds are from the east at 10 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 14 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the east at 5 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 69 degrees at Danville. The lowest temperature is CLEAR degrees at Roanoke.
