front crosses our region on Wednesday with scattered showers 
mainly across the mountains. Temperatures remain a few degrees 
either side of normal through the week with high pressure 
returning behind the front.

Across Virginia...temperatures are near 65 degrees north, near 59 degrees central, and near 59 degrees south. Current sky conditions are cloudy north, cloudy central, and partly cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 34%, and the dew point is near 36 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 49%, and the dew point is near 40 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 55%, and the dew point is near 43 degrees. Winds are from the south at 14 mph with gusts at 23 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the south at 8 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are variable at 6 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 65 degrees at Fredericksburg, Dulles International Airport, and Culpeper. The lowest temperature is PTCLDY degrees at Roanoke.
