.FORECAST SUMMARY...
A cold front will pass across the area this evening, 
accompanied by scattered showers and a few Thunderstorms. 
Passage of the front will bring cooler temperatures to the 
region for the weekend with dry weather Saturday. The front is 
expected to stall over the southern Appalachians, with low 
pressure developing along the front and passing just to our 
south Sunday. This will bring clouds back across our region 
Sunday with a chance for light rain along and south of the 
Virginia, North Carolina border. Fair weather returns for Monday
and Tuesday.

Across Virginia...temperatures are near 55 degrees north, near 59 degrees central, and near 66 degrees south. Current sky conditions are cloudy north, light rain central, and mostly sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 83%, and the dew point is near 50 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 80%, and the dew point is near 53 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 75%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. Winds are from the south at 7 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 8 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Winds are from the northeast at 5 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 66 degrees at Danville. The lowest temperature is MOCLDY degrees at Roanoke.
