...New SHORT TERM, LONG TERM...

.SHORT TERM...
(Today through Friday)
Issued at 152 AM CDT Thu Apr 25 2024

We are going to see great weather today with highs pushing into
the low to mid 70s. Skies will start out clear but as the
afternoon goes on we will start to see increasing mid to high
level clouds ahead of a short wave and warm front. This short wave
and warm front will move in Thursday night into Friday morning
and will bring the chance for some scattered showers. CAPE will be
limited and that should keep the thunderstorm chances low. QPF
will be very light through Friday morning with just a few
hundreths possible.
