Regional Weather Forecast National Weather Service Bismarck ND 1014 PM CDT Thu Mar 28 2024 /914 PM MDT Thu Mar 28 2024/ A low pressure system will bring a mixed bag of rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow to eastern Montana, North Dakota and northern South Dakota tonight into Friday and then across the eastern Dakotas and Minnesota into Friday night. This system may impact travel with light to moderate snow accumulations possible along the International Border late tonight through Friday, and icy roadways farther south mostly after midnight tonight through Friday morning. If you have travel plans tonight through Friday, be sure to check the latest road conditions before you leave. Lows tonight will range from the single digits and teens over Minnesota, to the mid and upper 20s west. Highs Friday will range from the 30s north to 40s south. Another system moves through the region late Saturday through Sunday, this system looks to be tracking west to east across South Dakota and possibly into southern North Dakota with mainly snow north and rain south. Late in the weekend and into early next week another system may impact the Central Plains and southern portions of the Northern Plains.
