Rain showers will continue across the region today. Winds remain 
breezy across the eastern Dakotas and Minnesota, with eastern 
Montana and western North Dakota becoming breezy this afternoon. 
Low temperatures this morning are forecast from the lower 40s 
northwest to mid 50s southeast. Daytime highs are expected to be 
from the lower 50s east to upper 60s west.

Temperatures will trend cooler through the end of the week, with
highs broadly in the 40s and 50s by Sunday. Occasional chances for
measurable rainfall continue for most area through early next 
week.

Across South Dakota...temperatures are near 50 east. Current sky condition is cloudy east.In the east, relative humidity is near 80%, and the dew point is near 44 degrees. Winds are unavailable west. Winds are unavailable central. Winds are from the southeast at 22 mph with gusts at 39 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 50 degrees at YANKTON and MITCHELL. The lowest temperature is 46 degrees at BROOKINGS.

 DAY ONE  Today and tonight.

Ongoing rain and a few thunderstorms early this morning will 
diminish in coverage through mid-late morning. Severe weather is 
not expected.

Additional showers and scattered thunderstorms will develop this
afternoon into tonight. The probability for severe weather is low,
however isolated stronger storms during the late afternoon or early
evening may produce hail up to quarter size. Brief heavy rain is also
possible.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday.

Another round of rain with a few thunderstorms will move across the
area Saturday night and Sunday. Severe weather is not expected at
this time.

 SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
