ON THE WEATHER MAP... A WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL TRACK ACROSS SOUTH CAROLINA TODAY BRINGING ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE AREA. SLIGHTLY DRIER AIR WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION TONIGHT AND TUESDAY WITH A BREAK FROM THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FOR MOST OF THE AREA ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT. DAYTIME TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE A DEGREE OR TWO BELOW NORMAL THROUGH WEDNESDAY WITH OVERNIGHT LOWS NEAR NORMAL.

Across South Carolina...temperatures are near 86 degrees west, near 87 degrees central, and near 85 degrees east. Current sky conditions are mostly sunny west, mostly sunny central, and partly sunny east. In the west, relative humidity is near 39%, and the dew point is near 59 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 46%, and the dew point is near 64 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 54%, and the dew point is near 67 degrees. Winds are from the southwest at 14 mph with gusts at 22 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the west at 15 mph with gusts at 24 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the south at 12 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 90 degrees at Orangeburg. The lowest temperature is 69 degrees at North Myrtle Beach.
