ON THE WEATHER MAP... A WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL TRACK ACROSS SOUTH CAROLINA TODAY BRINGING ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE AREA. SLIGHTLY DRIER AIR WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION TONIGHT AND TUESDAY WITH A BREAK FROM THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FOR MOST OF THE AREA ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT. DAYTIME TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE A DEGREE OR TWO BELOW NORMAL THROUGH WEDNESDAY WITH OVERNIGHT LOWS NEAR NORMAL.

Across South Carolina...temperatures are near 84 degrees west, near 85 degrees central, and near 76 degrees east. Current sky conditions are sunny west, mostly sunny central, and partly sunny east. In the west, relative humidity is near 33%, and the dew point is near 52 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 44%, and the dew point is near 61 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 76%, and the dew point is near 68 degrees. The livestock heat stress category is no stress west, no stress central, and no stress east. Winds are from the east at 5 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northwest at 10 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 7 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 85 degrees at Orangeburg, Columbia Airport, and Anderson.
