Across Rhode Island...temperatures are near 45 degrees north, near 45 degrees central, and near 42 degrees south. Current sky conditions are clear north, clear central, and clear south. In the north, relative humidity is near 53%, and the dew point is near 29 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 58%, and the dew point is near 31 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 67%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. Winds are variable at 5 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the south at 8 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the south at 6 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 45 degrees at Westerly, Smithfield, and Providence. The lowest temperature is 42 degrees at Newport.

around Huntsville AL, and highlighted a backward spring in the South that

An unusually strong occluded front swept out of the Gulf of Alaska and
produced the first April thunderstorm of record at Fairbanks. Pea size hail
fell northeast of Fairbanks from thunderstorms whose tops were less than

Severe thunderstorms associated with an intense cyclone spawned a total of
forty-seven tornadoes in two days from Louisiana to Upper Michigan. The
