UPPER-LEVEL LOW PRESSURE WILL COMBINE WITH MOIST SOUTHEASTERLY FLOW 
TO GENERATE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ONCE AGAIN THIS 
AFTERNOON. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 70S IN THE 
POCONOS AND THE LAUREL HIGHLANDS TO THE LOW 80S ACROSS WESTERN 
PENNSYLVANIA.

THE SHOWER ACTIVITY WILL DIMINISH TONIGHT...WITH LOW CLOUDS AND 
PATCHY FOG REDEVELOPING. LOW TEMPERATURES WILL GENERALLY BE IN THE 
UPPER 50S TO LOW 60S STATEWIDE.

SKIES WILL BECOME PARTLY SUNNY ON FRIDAY. A SLOW-MOVING COLD FRONT 
WILL PUSH INTO NORTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA LATE IN THE DAY...WITH 
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING ALONG AND AHEAD OF 
THE FRONT. TEMPERATURES WILL BE A FEW DEGREES WARMER...WITH HIGHS 
RANGING FROM THE UPPER 70S IN THE POCONOS TO THE MID 80S ACROSS 
SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA.

A SUMMER-LIKE HOLIDAY WEEKEND IS IN STORE...WITH ABOVE-NORMAL 
TEMPERATURES AND HUMID CONDITIONS. ALTHOUGH MUCH OF THE WEEKEND WILL

Across Pennsylvania...temperatures are near 67 degrees west, near 66 degrees central, and near 70 degrees east. Current sky conditions are mostly sunny west, cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 75%, and the dew point is near 59 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 82%, and the dew point is near 61 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 87%, and the dew point is near 66 degrees. The livestock heat stress category is no stress west, no stress central, and no stress east. Conditions are hazy central. Winds are coming from the southeast at 3 mph in the west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm in the central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are coming from the east at 6 mph in the east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 72 degrees at Erie. The lowest temperature is 62 degrees at Johnstown.
