A COLD FRONT IN WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA WILL MOVE VERY SLOWLY INTO 
CENTRAL AND EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA THIS EVENING... WHERE IT WILL 
REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. THERE WILL
BE PERIODS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS UNTIL LATER IN THE WEEK.

CLEARING WILL BEGIN IN WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA THURSDAY WITH SOME 
SHOWERS LINGERING INTO FRIDAY IN THE EAST. VERY WARM FAIR WEATHER 
WILL PREVAIL FOR MOST OF THE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND.

THE LOW TEMPERATURE TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 50S NEAR LAKE 
ERIE TO THE LOWER 60S IN THE SOUTHEASTERN PIEDMONT. THE HIGH 
TEMPERATURE WEDNESDAY WILL BE MAINLY IN THE MID AND UPPER 70S.

Across Pennsylvania...temperatures are near 75 degrees west, near 73 degrees central, and near 73 degrees east. Current sky conditions are partly sunny west, mostly sunny central, and partly sunny east. In the west, relative humidity is near 57%, and the dew point is near 59 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 64%, and the dew point is near 61 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 73%, and the dew point is near 64 degrees. The livestock heat stress category is no stress west, no stress central, and no stress east. Winds are variable at 7 mph in the west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm in the central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are coming from the south at 3 mph in the east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 78 degrees at Reading. The lowest temperature is 62 degrees at Erie.

A powerful tornado virtually wiped the small southwest Texas community of
Saragosa off the map. The twister destroyed eighty- five percent of the
structures in the town killing thirty persons and injuring 121 others in
the town of population 183. The tornado hurled trucks and autos through
