Current sky conditions are partly cloudy central and clear east. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 61%, and the dew point is near 64 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 43%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. Winds are unavailable west. Winds are from the south at 16 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the south at 12 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 81 degrees at WOODRING and HOBART. The lowest temperature is 77 degrees at CLINTON.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION Thunderstorm chances will increase Thursday into Thursday evening as a strong cold front moves across the area. Storms may be severe Thursday afternoon and evening, mainly to the southeast of Interstate 44, with large hail and damaging winds being the main threats. The front will stall just south of the Red River Friday and Saturday, with showers and a few thunderstorms remaining possible to the north of the boundary.
