Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Oklahoma
Based on observations at 1100am CDT, Tuesday April 16, 2024

Across Oklahoma...temperatures are near 73 degrees west, near 72 degrees central, and near 78 degrees east. Current sky conditions are sunny west, mostly sunny central, and sunny east. In the west, relative humidity is near 24%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 28%, and the dew point is near 37 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 51%, and the dew point is near 59 degrees. Winds are from the west at 9 mph with gusts at 17 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the southwest at 20 mph with gusts at 30 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the south at 23 mph with gusts at 33 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 75 degrees at GUTHRIE. The lowest temperature is 71 degrees at HOBART, CLINTON, and ALTUS AFB.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For BEAVER County,

426 AM CDT Tue Apr 16 2024

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight.

Critical fire weather conditions may develop this afternoon into early
this evening across the Oklahoma Panhandle and far northern Texas 
Panhandle due to strong northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with higher
gusts along with minimum relative humidity values of 15 to 20 percent.
A Red Flag Warning is in effect for this area from 1 PM this afternoon
until 9 PM this evening. 

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Wednesday through Monday.

Elevated fire weather conditions are possible Wednesday afternoon
into early evening across the far northwest sections of the area 
due to southwest winds of 15 to 20 mph along with minimum relative
humidity values near 15 percent. 

Thunderstorms are possible across parts of the area late Friday
night through Saturday evening. If storms form, they are expected
to remain below severe levels at this time. 

 SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT  

Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.

Area fire managers and emergency officials should be alert for
elevated or critical fire weather conditions today and Wednesday.
