Weather Summary Current Temperatures, Dewpoint, RH, Wind, Surface 4-Panel Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Oklahoma Based on observations at 300am CDT, Tuesday April 23, 2024 Across Oklahoma...temperatures are near 56 degrees west, near 54 degrees central, and near 55 degrees east. Current sky conditions are clear west, clear central, and clear east. In the west, relative humidity is near 73%, and the dew point is near 48 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 74%, and the dew point is near 46 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 61%, and the dew point is near 42 degrees. Winds are from the south at 12 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the south at 14 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the south at 5 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 58 degrees at WILEY POST, TINKER AFB, and MCALESTER. The lowest temperature is 52 degrees at ALTUS AFB.

DISCUSSION Gusty south to southwest winds 25 to 35 mph and dry air in place over the region is yielding a limited fire weather danger to the north and west of Tulsa this afternoon. EXTENDED DISCUSSION An active weather pattern is expected to evolve over the coming days, resulting in several rounds of strong to severe storm potential and locally heavy rainfall for the middle to latter half of the work week on into the weekend. Storm chances ramp up Tuesday night and will peak during the Friday and Saturday time frame, where the highest chance of severe weather exists as well. Depending on how things evolve in the coming days, there is potential for higher-end, high-impact severe weather.
