A cold front will move east across the area today, bringing another 
round of gusty showers to the region. There will be one more round 
of scattered showers Saturday afternoon, then dry weather will 
return for Sunday. The weekend will be quite cool with a stretch of 
below average temperatures.

Across New York...temperatures are near 60 degrees west, near 53 degrees central, and near 52 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, cloudy central, and partly sunny east. In the west, relative humidity is near 66%, and the dew point is near 49 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 77%, and the dew point is near 46 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 63%, and the dew point is near 40 degrees. Winds are coming from the southwest at 13 mph in the west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are coming from the southeast at 14 mph with gusts at 26 mph in the central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are coming from the northeast at 12 mph in the east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 64 degrees at Dunkirk. The lowest temperature is 48 degrees at Binghamton.
