High pressure will drift east to the New England coastline tonight 
maintaining dry weather. A warm front will lift across the region
this weekend bringing some showers and perhaps a few rumbles of
thunder, especially Saturday. A warming trend this weekend into
early next week will result in late spring to summerlike warmth
both Sunday and Monday. A cold front will bring our next chance
for showers and a few thunderstorms Monday night and Tuesday.

Across New York...temperatures are near 55 degrees west, near 56 degrees central, and near 49 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, partly cloudy central, and partly cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 34%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 22%, and the dew point is near 18 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 48%, and the dew point is near 30 degrees. Winds are coming from the east at 14 mph with gusts at 22 mph in the west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are coming from the east at 6 mph in the central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are coming from the south at 14 mph in the east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 61 degrees at Jamestown. The lowest temperature is 43 degrees at Saranac Lake.
