A cold front will exit to the east of the area this evening, 
with rain showers ending from west to east. Another trough will 
pass over the eastern Great Lakes Saturday with scattered 
showers. A few of these showers may produce some small hail or 
graupel. Dry weather will return Sunday through much of Tuesday 
as high pressure builds east across the Ohio Valley and Mid 
Atlantic. Cool temperatures and gusty winds this weekend will 
give way to a warming trend early next week.

Across New York...temperatures are near 48 degrees west, near 56 degrees central, and near 49 degrees east. Current sky conditions are mostly cloudy west, light rain central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 76%, and the dew point is near 41 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 84%, and the dew point is near 51 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 74%, and the dew point is near 41 degrees. Winds are coming from the southwest at 18 mph with gusts at 26 mph in the west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are calm in the central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Winds are coming from the southeast at 6 mph in the east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 57 degrees at Albany. The lowest temperature is 47 degrees at Islip.
