Across New Hampshire...temperatures are near 36 degrees north, near degrees central, and near 46 degrees south. Current sky conditions are light rain north, central, and rain south. In the north, relative humidity is near 92%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near %, and the dew point is near degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 44 degrees. Visibility is less than one mile north. Winds are calm north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Winds are unavailable central. Winds are from the north at 3 mph south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to rain. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 46 degrees at ROCHESTER, PORTSMOUTH, and MANCHESTER. The lowest temperature is LGT degrees at MT WASHINGTON.

 DAY ONE  Today and tonight.

There is the potential for locally heavy rain Thursday and Thursday
night which will increase the potential for flooding. The best
chance for heavy rain will be along the coast, though the threat may
extend into the foothills depending on storm track. 

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday.

There is the potential for some light snow accumulations and slick 
travel conditions on the backside of the storm on Friday.

The worst tornado disaster of record occurred in Chicago IL as a tornado
killed 28 persons and caused three million dollars damage. (David Ludlum)
...1997...
Ten tornadoes tore across the area, affecting the Kentucky counties of 
Adair, Metcalfe, Casey, Green, Larue, Marion, Hardin, Hart, Nelson, and 
Russell; and the Indiana counties of Scott and Jefferson. Two of the 
twisters produced F3 damage. A 28-year-old woman was killed in Metcalfe 
County as she was thrown from her destroyed mobile home. A 40-year-old man 
was killed when his house in Bonnieville (Hart County) was hit by one of 
the F3 tornadoes and blown off its foundation. This tornado injured many 
people when it caused several car accidents as it crossed Interstate 65.
