Current sky conditions are light rain west, mostly cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 100%, and the dew point is near 49 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 96%, and the dew point is near 50 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 97%, and the dew point is near 54 degrees. There is patchy fog east. Winds are from the south at 3 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. All NWS Radars (In near-real time), Current Livestock Heat Stress Index (LSI), Current Wind Chill Map Hazardous Weather Outlook For LINCOLN County, Nebraska 502 AM CDT Fri Apr 26 2024 /402 AM MDT Fri Apr 26 2024/ DAY ONE Today and tonight. Showers and thunderstorms continue through most of today, with the primary severe weather threat in portions of north central Nebraska during the afternoon hours. Large hail and heavy rain are the primary threats, though damaging winds and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. The threat for serious flash flooding appears low at this time, but lowland flooding will be possible as up to an inch and a half of rain is forecast across western Nebraska. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Saturday through Thursday. Another round of storms are expected to form late Saturday and persist overnight through Sunday morning across. The primary severe weather threat will be large hail and heavy rainfall across southwest Nebraska. New rainfall amounts of a half inch to an inch and a half are again possible.
