- Severe weather appears likely (>80% chance) during the 
  afternoon and evening hours on both Friday, Saturday, and

Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Nebraska
Based on observations at 700am CDT, Friday April 26, 2024

Across Nebraska...temperatures are near 49 degrees west, near 51 degrees central, and near 55 degrees east. Current sky conditions are light rain west, mostly cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 100%, and the dew point is near 49 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 96%, and the dew point is near 50 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 97%, and the dew point is near 54 degrees. There is patchy fog east. Winds are from the south at 3 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Winds are from the south at 3 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 20 mph with gusts at 25 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 62 degrees at HEBRON. The lowest temperature is 48 degrees at O'NEILL and CHADRON.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For LINCOLN County, Nebraska

502 AM CDT Fri Apr 26 2024 /402 AM MDT Fri Apr 26 2024/

 DAY ONE  Today and tonight.

Showers and thunderstorms continue through most of today, with the
primary severe weather threat in portions of north central Nebraska 
during the afternoon hours. Large hail and heavy rain are the 
primary threats, though damaging winds and an isolated tornado 
cannot be ruled out. The threat for serious flash flooding appears 
low at this time, but lowland flooding will be possible as up to an 
inch and a half of rain is forecast across western Nebraska.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday.

Another round of storms are expected to form late Saturday and 
persist overnight through Sunday morning across. The primary severe
weather threat will be large hail and heavy rainfall across southwest
Nebraska. New rainfall amounts of a half inch to an inch and a half 
are again possible.
