  beginning tonight and continuing through Sunday. 

- Severe weather appears likely (>80% chance), especially 
  during the afternoon and evening hours on Friday, Saturday,

Across Nebraska...temperatures are near 50 degrees west, near 54 degrees central, and near 58 degrees east. Current sky conditions are light rain west, cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 80%, and the dew point is near 44 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 57%, and the dew point is near 39 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 53%, and the dew point is near 41 degrees. Winds are from the south at 26 mph with gusts at 37 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Winds are from the southeast at 8 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 9 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 60 degrees at LINCOLN, HOLDREGE, and FREMONT. The lowest temperature is 35 degrees at ALBION.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Thursday night through Wednesday

Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected beginning
Thursday and continuing through the weekend. There will be a few
chances of severe weather during this time. There is a marginal
risk of severe storms Thursday evening through early Friday
morning, a slight risk for Friday afternoon and Friday evening,
another slight risk for southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa Saturday
afternoon and evening, and another low risk for severe storms 
Sunday.
