Current sky conditions are cloudy west, cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 69%, and the dew point is near 49 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 90%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 77%, and the dew point is near 63 degrees. Winds are from the north at 20 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the northwest at 10 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the south at 21 mph with gusts at 32 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 75 degrees at FALLS CITY. The lowest temperature is RAIN degrees at VALENTINE, THEDFORD, and ORD.
All NWS Radars (In near-real time), Current Livestock Heat Stress Index (LSI), Current Wind Chill Map Hazardous Weather Outlook For GRANT County, Nebraska 1021 AM CDT Fri Apr 26 2024 /921 AM MDT Fri Apr 26 2024/ DAY ONE This afternoon and tonight. Showers and thunderstorms continue through most of today, with the primary severe weather threat in portions of north central Nebraska during the afternoon hours. Large hail and heavy rain are the primary threats, though damaging winds and a brief tornado cannot be ruled out. The threat for serious flash flooding appears low at this time, but lowland flooding will be possible as up to an inch and a half of rain is forecast across western Nebraska. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Saturday through Thursday. Another round of storms is expected late Saturday through Sunday. Some storms may produce large hail across southwest Nebraska on Saturday. New rainfall amounts up to an inch and a half are again possible across the area. SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT Spotter activation may be needed.
