Across Nebraska...temperatures are near 27 degrees west, near 27 degrees central, and near 37 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, clear central, and partly cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 85%, and the dew point is near 23 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 89%, and the dew point is near 24 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 81%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. Winds are calm west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northwest at 3 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the west at 7 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 31 degrees east. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 41 degrees at FALLS CITY. The lowest temperature is 25 degrees at AURORA and ALBION.

 DAY ONE  Today and tonight.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday.

Precipitation overspreads southwest Nebraska early Saturday morning,
followed by the western and central Sandhills. Overnight snow will
transition to a wintry mix or rain midday Saturday, then gradually
taper. Light snow accumulations are possible, primarily for areas
near the Colorado border.
