Greater flooding threat on Saturday night. - Severe thunderstorms possible on Sunday as well, to a lesser degree, but brief tornadoes possible as well. - Storms wrap up by Monday, with warmer temperatures arriving next week. Current sky conditions are partly cloudy west, light rain central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 74%, and the dew point is near 47 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 77%, and the dew point is near 52 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 56%, and the dew point is near 53 degrees. Winds are from the north at 16 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the west at 14 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Winds are from the southwest at 16 mph with gusts at 23 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Showers and thunderstorms will gradually taper through the evening hours across western and north central Nebraska. Brief hail cannot be ruled out for areas near and east of Highway 183 before sunset. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Saturday through Thursday. Another round of rain and storms will move through the region later Saturday and into Sunday. Some storms may produce large hail and strong winds Saturday evening across southwest Nebraska, primarily south of Interstate 80. A brief tornado is also possible.
