Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Nebraska
Based on observations at 700am CDT, Tuesday April 23, 2024

Across Nebraska...temperatures are near 37 degrees west, near 43 degrees central, and near 53 degrees east. Current sky conditions are partly cloudy west, partly cloudy central, and mostly cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 64%, and the dew point is near 26 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 62%, and the dew point is near 31 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 84%, and the dew point is near 48 degrees. Winds are from the northwest at 7 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 32 degrees west. Winds are from the north at 6 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 58 degrees at FREMONT. The lowest temperature is 30 degrees at KEARNEY.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For BLAINE County, Nebraska

446 AM CDT Tue Apr 23 2024 /346 AM MDT Tue Apr 23 2024/

 DAY ONE  Today and tonight.

Elevated fire weather conditions are possible this afternoon,
generally west of highway 83. Gusty northerly winds will combine with
minimum relative humidity of 20 to 25 percent in these areas. 

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Wednesday through Monday.

The potential for thunderstorms will increase beginning Thursday 
afternoon and continue through Sunday. At this time, the greatest
severe threat is Thursday afternoon into Thursday night. The main
threat is south of a line from Antioch to Bartlett. Large hail and
damaging winds are the main severe threats. Beyond Thursday night,
the threat for severe storms is low.
