- Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected
  through the weekend. 

- Marginal risk of severe weather tonight especially across 
  eastern Nebraska.

- Severe weather appears likely (>80% chance) during the 
  afternoon and evening hours on both Friday, Saturday, and

Across Nebraska...temperatures are near 51 degrees west, near 55 degrees central, and near 52 degrees east. Current sky conditions are light rain west, thunderstorms central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 96%, and the dew point is near 50 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 41%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 95%, and the dew point is near 51 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 7 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. Winds are from the southeast at 15 mph with gusts at 24 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and thunderstorms. Winds are from the southeast at 17 mph with gusts at 30 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 56 degrees at OGALLALA, NORTH PLATTE, and HEBRON. The lowest temperature is RAIN degrees at THEDFORD, ORD, and HASTINGS.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For ANTELOPE County, Nebraska

 DAY ONE  Tonight and Friday

Thunderstorms will become widespread overnight tonight with 
isolated occurrences of hail up to one-inch in diameter, wind 
gusts to 60 mph, and localized flooding possible. The best chance 
for severe weather appears to be across eastern Nebraska through 
4 am. 

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday night through Thursday

Severe weather is likely across much of eastern Nebraska and
southwest Iowa on Friday afternoon and evening. All hazards are
possible, including hail up to three inches in diameter, a few 
strong tornadoes, and thunderstorm winds up to 70 mph. Much of
eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa are in an enhanced risk of
severe weather. The best timeframe for severe storms should be
from 2 pm through 9 pm. Be prepared to implement severe weather 
safety plans on Friday afternoon and evening. 

Another round of severe weather is likely late Saturday afternoon
into Saturday night, especially along and south of I-80. Again, all
severe hazards are possible, including hail up to three inches in
diameter, a few strong tornadoes, and thunderstorm winds up to 70
mph. 

Severe weather is again possible Sunday afternoon into evening in
parts of southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa. Hail up to 
quarter size and thunderstorm winds up to 60 mph are the main 
hazards, but an isolated weak tornado couldn't be ruled out that 
day as well.

 SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT  

Spotter activation will likely be required on both Friday and 
Saturday afternoons and evenings.
