Widespread highs in the 70s are expected today, with increasing 
chances for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon into 
tonight. An isolated strong to severe storm is possible, mainly 
in western South Dakota. The weather will then trend cooler for 
the end of the work week and into the weekend, with continued 
decent chances for measurable rainfall Friday through Sunday for 
most areas.

Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in North Dakota
Based on observations at 400pm CDT, Thursday April 25, 2024

Across North Dakota...temperatures are near 77 degrees west, near 76 degrees central, and near 79 degrees east. Current sky conditions are partly sunny west, partly sunny central, and mostly sunny east. In the west, relative humidity is near 22%, and the dew point is near 36 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 34%, and the dew point is near 46 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 23%, and the dew point is near 39 degrees. Winds are unavailable west. Winds are from the south at 23 mph with gusts at 32 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the south at 29 mph with gusts at 45 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 79 degrees at YANKTON. The lowest temperature is 69 degrees at HETTINGER ARPT.
